Established over 30 years ago, Qualitair was one of the first British manufacturers of standard air conditioning products. It was acquired by Eaton-Williams in 1993 which has now created a business that can provide standard product solutions to a wide range of specialized applications and projects.
The Products
Our products can cater for simple low temperature cooling requirements to full close control applications for computer or equipment rooms.
For food preparation areas, Qualitair offers a unique low temperature ceiling cassette, QLC, that can operate down to 8°C, meeting many of the EU directives and legislation.
Product cooling in storage areas such as beer, fresh fruit, vegetables and florist stocks is met with Qualitair Invicta ICC refrigeration units.
Retail display equipment needs robust but quiet outdoor condensing units, Qualitair have developed their ICU and ICUS ranges to satisfy this application.
Close control units have always been a specialization of the Eaton-Williams Group and Qualitair have developed a range of standard units, IPAC, to meet most applications.
Commercial buildings from the 70’s & 80's often used “thro’ the wall” air conditioning units and today are coming up for refurbishment and upgrade. Developers look for direct replacement so Qualitair has continued manufacturing QPM & QPC units for this purpose and can often “adapt” these to replace units no longer available from other manufacturers.
