Qualitair eases stock shortages for wholesalers with Stockline

Despite a tough operating climate, Qualitair has seen a 30% increase in sales for all its products with wholesalers and distributors struggling to keep pace with demand.

Although the Qualitair factory is producing more units than ever with lead times that are shorter than last year they still needed to do more to secure supply to the trade.

Contractors have been flooding Qualitair’s switchboard with requests to locate wholesalers with stock. In a bid to ease the shortage, Qualitair has not only increased wholesaler stock quantities but also launched a new service called Stockline.

Stockline can supply ICCs, ICUs and QLCs“Our success and that of the wholesalers depends on keeping orders and we need to secure supply to the contractor. Stockline will plug the gap when the wholesaler has had a bigger than expect draw on their stocks and will enable them to maximise sales opportunities” comments Tony Twine, Qualitair Product Manager.

Stockline will hold quantities of the ICC cellar cooling units and QLC low temperature cassettes along with the corresponding ICU condensing units.

“The QLC range has seen a surge in demand from high street supermarkets to florists, butchers and food preparation companies” says Tony.

There is currently no other unit that can match the QLC’s ability to operate below 8°C and designed specifically to comply with food regulations. It also uses R407c or R404a so that it can be used on pack systems or individual condensing units.
