Invicta Condensing Units from Eaton-Williams

Eaton-Williams is continuing its aggressive attack on the market with a series of product announcements that will further entrench its position as one of the UK's leading manufacturers of air conditioning products. The company has now unveiled new outdoor condensing units from Qualitair, which are being marketed as both stand-alone units or can be used with any suitable indoor evaporator.

Qualitair Air Cooled Condensing UnitsKnown as the Invicta Condensing Unit (ICU), the range has been designed for use with products from Qualitair's own extensive ranges, in addition to other manufacturers' indoor DX units particularly where refurbishment's are taking place.

There are nine models available ranging from 2.6kW to the top of the range model offering 19.0kW. The ICU is a very compact design with a small footprint, the base model (ICU 30) weighing 40Kg and the largest (ICU 70) weighing 97Kg.

A host of factory fitted features as standard combined with optional accessories provides specifiers and installers with an attractive range of units to suit a wide range of applications.

  • The units are fully weatherproofed and designed to operate efficiently all year round. High efficiency compressors are a key element of the design and used on all models, consisting of rotary designs on the ICU30 and ICU40 and scroll designs on the remaining seven models.

  • Refrigerant lines up to 100 metres can be accommodated maximising positioning options.
  • All models operate and are pre-charged with R407c refrigerant, for the equivalent of up to five metres of pipe run. Each circuit is fitted with flared pipe connections and shut-off valves on the side of the casing.
  • Qualitair also offers optional electrical isolators and wall mounting kits, with heat pumps units if required.
