EWS adds value with M&E services

In response to customer requests for full building services contracts and ad hoc customised solutions, EWS has launched a new service.

EWS M&E Services offers the facility to undertake a wide range of refurbishment projects, replacements, repairs and installations.

“Over the years we have built a substantial customer base by offering comprehensive contracting packages. Through organic growth we have the skills and expertise to provide tailored solutions for intelligent environments be it heating, comfort cooling or close control” comments Darren Johnson, Manager EWS M&E Services.

Typically works can include air conditioning (comfort and close control), public health, electrical, fire detection, ventilation, water treatment and controls including BMS systems.

In addition EWS M&E Services can handle the replacement of CFCs in refrigeration equipment without the loss of performance, repairing condensers to full refurbishments and/or new power installations. It fully complies with refrigerant safe handling and recovery practices under the environmental protection Act. Ozone depleting refrigerants are recycled or disposed of in an environmentally safe manner using its own refrigerant reclaim machinery.

As energy costs are likely to rise with the introduction of the carbon tax, heat reclaim projects have become a priority. As a company EWS M&E Services promotes energy saving designs for all projects and aims to provide the most suitable and cost effective solution without compromising levels of performance for all systems installed.
