Eaton-Williams AHU selection software puts users in control

Moducel Selection Programme 3D imageEaton-Williams has launched a web-based air handling programme that puts architects, specifiers and contractors in control of their air handling selections.

Designed to be users-friendly, the Eaton-Williams air handling unit selection provides easy to follow instructions and menus enabling customers to easily and quickly design their own air handling equipment solutions.

Once users have registered they can easily navigate through the programme and select the most appropriate unit for their application.

“The programme is fast, easy to use and gives customers greater control of their projects,” says Joe Wieckowski, General Sales Manager of Colman Moducel.

“Our selection programme offers unit configurations saved as templates enabling customers to input their own defined technical data such as air volume, chilled water, external resistance for supply, extract and indoor temperature requirements.”

Components can easily be changed and once finalised, drawings can be generated in AutoCAD drawing format to allow importing in to your designs. A full technical specification complements the drawing in a PDF format.

The programme offers 74 Inline options, 35 double deck options, 35 side-by-side options and 55 FanWall options as standard templates. Its unique 3-D modelling capabilities ensure an accurate view is presented every time.

A ‘workview’ screen allows users to add, edit or delete components. If a component is added or amended the fan section element will turn red requiring the fan section to be edited before continuing to a sketch. The sketches used in the programme are identical to those used by Eaton-Williams bid team.

Selections are automatically saved and more than one project can be developed and filed with any number of AHUs.

Benefits include:

  • Easy to use
  • Easy to understand
  • Fast access
  • File saving and sharing
  • Generates drawings and specifications

Full details are available on the Eaton-Williams web site and formal follow up quotations can be obtained by emailing the sales manager at moducelselect@eaton-williams.com providing the project reference to enable the correct saved file to be accessed from the web server.
